Showcasing today’s fashionable light, bright and airy style, this extensively updated custom estate harmonizes with its pristine coastal setting in Dana Point’s guard-gated enclave of The Strand at Headlands.
While this grand property had the space and the views, the dark and dated interior made this property feel smaller and more closed in than it really was.
Our first step was to tackle the dark and dated cabinets, removing the carved columns and replacing them with a cleaner, smoother, more modern look and making them flush with the wall. Now a visitor's eye goes straight to the amazing view!
Paint is a quick and fairly inexpensive way to update the feel of any room, and a lighter color throughout the home enhanced the home's brightness and airy feel.
Bringing in light-colored, modern furniture made the home feel fresh and new. Our interior designer worked her magic with all the finishing touches with new wall art, throw pillows, lamps, vases, and beautiful area rugs.
The Result
“We expected the total transformation to look good, but the stunning result even surprised our team.”
